In a large light show stage, the Marie-Elisabeth-Lueders-Haus in Berlin's Parliament neighborhood transforms every evening from 28 June 3 till the Day of German Unity October 3, 2012. Daily with the onset of darkness, there is a film, light and tone projection on the facade of Marie-Elisabeth Lüders House on the River Spree. The half-hour installation is called "To the German People - A parliamentary history from the Reichstag to the Bundestag." A staple to any visit to Berlin would be a trip to the top of the Reichstag.  Offering a 360 degree view of the city including tourist landmarks including Tiergarten, the River Spree, Brandenberg Gate, Hauptbahnhof (Berlin's main train station) and the signature Fernsehturm - a television tower in the city center of Berlin, Germany. The Bundestag is the middle stop on U55 on the U-Bahn line which only runs for 3 stops between Hauptbahnhof  and Brandenberg Tor.  Admission is free, but does require a reservation (see below).
