We picked what felt like the coldest day of the year to head over to Dahlem to check out the Weihnachtsmarkt.  We picked this market for its kid-friendly environment.  I love a good Christmas market, but many of the more popular markets are really crowded which limits how much you can do with a 3 year-old. The Adventsmarkt at Domäne Dahlem is located on a large estate - formerly 16th century Dahlem manor house - which operates as an organic farm year round.  It bills itself as an open-air museum for agricultural and food culture with an ecological focus.   We grabbed some hot chocolate to brave the cold to enjoy a pony ride, a carousel and lots of space to run around..  When we got cold we headed inside for arts and crafts.…
